| Hard to believe this was our little girl 3 years ago! |
Yesterday I read an article on my friends blog about comparing ourselves to "Parenting" magazines. I read with my mind and heart agreeing with every statement that she made. She hit every point that I needed to hear. Because in our little family everyday is surrounded not just by the daily activities but it also includes counting carbs, finger pricks every 2 hours (or more if moods change), and pump supplies have overtaken our medicine shelf.
(She made sure that her face was in the picture!) We are so blessed by her tough personality and unconditional love for those in need. She is such a trooper!
We, at first, asked God so many questions like, "Why us? Why her?" But now that we look back at the situation we thank God for what did NOT happen.
I look forward to every opportunity to share her story, the power of prayer and to make the common public aware that these are just "normal" kids with a story to tell!

Guess I forgot what today was the anniversary of until I read your post. I just remember holding it together in the ER the entire time then when you and Josh headed to Children's and I got in my car I totally lost it - for a long time!
