Cute as buttons

No words can explain... I am amazed at how fast they are growing. It seems like yesterday I was trying to "rush" the clock for SG to be able to be mobile. Now I am trying to do the exact opposite with both. Someone tell me where the emergency break is so I can pull all this to a grinding hault!

It's All in the Numbers

This week, for some reason or another, a lot of numerical figures have been running through my head. So let expound  upon some of the mathematical thoughts:
3 - The number of days my husband is spending in motorcycle safety training course. Yes, you read right. I am finally folding and letting him seriously consider the purchase of a 2 wheeler.

12 - The number of years ago that I met my husband and never turned back...

11 - The hour in which we said "I do" and made our life long commitment to one another.

23 - The lowest our daughter's blood sugar has been this week to throw this Momma into a scare.

431 - The opposite end of the spectrum...the highest her blood sugar has reached less than 24 (another number) hours after  the lowest low. Gosh this disease frustrates me.

9 - The date in September when we will walk to raise funds for finding a cure for this currently incurable disease of Type I Diabetes.

654 - These are the numbers that correspond, in order, minus the zeros in front of each of them to the month, day and year that Hubby and I became one.

But the most important number this week is...

8 - The number of years that my Husband and I will celebrate today of wedded bliss.
